Ali McBride is a professional make-up artist who has been in the beauty industry for 16 years, working internationally. She initially trained to be a beauty therapist gaining NVQ levels 2 and 3 and she worked UK based salon where she gained invaluable experience in managing a team of therapists.

This fuelled her passion to progress to the highly acclaimed Burj Al Arab Spa where her client list was filled with celebrities and VIP’s. As part of the pre-opening team at the Burj Al Arab Spa, Ali was responsible for the recruitment and training of staff and the implementation of operating procedures. She also worked closely with their sister companies, Jumeria Beach Hotel and Emirates Towers to implement the same high standards.

Following on from Dubai, she travelled to Sydney where she managed a school specialising in beauty treatments and spent several years working for the leading brands in beauty technology. She then became an international trainer for thousands of therapists all over the world in the use of advanced beauty equipment such as micro-current, micro dermabrasion and oxygen. Ali found her passion for the make-up industry whilst working for Dior and this led her to set up independently as a professional make-up artist. She now specialises in bridal make up.
